We see rainbows after storms, but can we find them other places? This week in The Lab we will investigate these hidden rainbows and discover where we can find even more in nature.
Sept 3 – Sept 9
Mix things up and discover the science behind baking and cooking! Let’s figure out how the ingredients change our food by brewing up a bubbling batch of chemical concoctions.
Sept 10 – Sept 16
We are taking a closer look at the relationship between the sun, moon, and earth. Help us get ready for the fall equinox by playing with shadows and creating your very own eclipse!
Sept 17 – Sept 23
Explore the small world of cells and investigate what happens inside of them. Extract DNA from strawberries and even make your own DNA bracelet to take home!
Sept 24 – Sept 30
Come to The Lab and explore how Earth’s atmosphere affects the ocean and its creatures. We will also discover how these ocean labs can be found in surprising places.
