This curated series of classes connects you with some of our Triangle-area expert partners to explore the science behind some of your favorite things. You’ll come away with tips from pros for ways to build your skill on your own. Enroll in individual sessions or sign up for a full series!
Beer + Bread 101
Geek out at the Museum, and leave the kids at home! These special 21+ only events provide a great opportunity to grab a beer, explore the Museum, and hang out with your friends all while absorbing awesome science from local universities and vendors. Topics like Science of Beer, Science of Wine, and Science of Eats pop up through the year and give you plenty of chances to enjoy the Museum in a whole new way.

Bring a friend, grab a beer, and start making stuff at the Museum of Life and Science’s tinkering happy hour! Join us at Motorco for a night of making, meeting, and drinking. Whether you’re an amateur engineer or a master maker, we’ll have tools and technology for you to tinker with, from circuit bending to fiber arts. Specific activities change at each event.
