Located in the Magic Wings Butterfly House, the Bayer Insectarium features a rare assortment of exotic insects from around the globe, making it one of the top destinations in the Southeast to admire entomological life cycles. Interactive exhibits give you an up-close and personal view into the lives of members of the largest groups of animals on the planet - invertebrates!

Look up as Giant Orb Weavers (Nephila) are suspended overhead in this open-air exhibit. Since Orb Weavers can get everything they need, including food and water, from their webs, they rarely leave their exhibit environment - despite a lack of glass!
