Kids walking along pathway

Museum Schoolhouse

The Museum of Life and Science offers weekday classes for families with elementary and middle-school students. They promote discovery and learning for homeschool families or parents looking for alternative weekday educational opportunities.

Through these classes, we foster curiosity in the world around us and the use of science as a tool to explore it. Our educators use the Museum’s 84 acres of indoor and outdoor learning environments for activities that spark curiosity and new ways of thinking. It’s the perfect way for kids to learn, discover, and have fun this year.

2022/2023 COVID-19 Changes: Our class schedule will have offerings for ages five through 13 with a focus on nature. Many (if not all) of our classes will be held outside, with not more than 15 students per class. Staff and students will wear masks when indoors.
