Ticket sales cover only a small portion of our operating expenses, while the rest comes from donations from corporations, foundations, government, and people like you!
You can make an impact on the future of the Museum by thinking of us when you plan your will or estate. A gift that costs you nothing during your lifetime can make all the difference in how your children and grandchildren remember you and the times they shared with you at the Museum. There are many options to including the Museum in your estate plans while achieving financial and personal benefits for you and your family.
Consider the following:
- Name the Museum as a beneficiary of your IRA or retirement plan
- Name the Museum as a beneficiary of your life insurance policy. Leave a specific amount, percentage, or the residual of your estate to the Museum
- Name the Museum in the succession plan of your donor advised fund or family foundation
You can be as specific as you like with your planned gift, or mark it as unrestricted to support the Museum’s operations as a whole.
If you have already made a planned gift to the Museum, please let us know so that we may thank you and welcome you into our Legacy Society.
