All aboard! Climb aboard our Ellerbe Creek Railway for an old-time train ride through the Museum grounds. This 10-minute train ride makes two laps through our nature park on the beloved scale replica C.P. Huntington locomotive, made possible by a generous donation from the Teer family. Keep an eye out for creative art installations that encourage you to notice your surroundings in a new and whimsical way!
The train runs daily (weather permitting) beginning at 10:30 am and ending at 4pm*. For specific times please check the daily train schedule posted at the Front Desk.
*Last run is 2:00pm on Tuesdays June through August
Train rides cost $3.50 per person for members and $5 per person for the general public. Children age 2 and under ride free on an adult's lap. If you are part of a group, we suggest a minimum of 1 adult per every five students. Tickets are available daily on a first-come, first-served basis at the front desk.
