All aboard! Climb aboard our Ellerbe Creek Railway for an old-time train ride through the Museum grounds. This 10-minute train ride makes two laps through our nature park on the beloved scale replica C.P. Huntington locomotive, made possible by a generous donation from the Teer family. Keep an eye out for creative art installations that encourage you to notice your surroundings in a new and whimsical way!
The train runs daily (weather permitting) beginning at 10:30am, every 30 minutes in the morning and every hour in the afternoon until 4pm*.
*Last run is 2:30pm on Mondays June through August
Train rides cost $3.50 per person for members and $5 per person for the general public. Children age 2 and under ride free on an adult's lap. If you are part of a group, we suggest a minimum of 1 adult per every five students. Tickets are available daily on a first come, first served basis at the front desk.
