Parent and child walk together

Walk of the Week

Starting January 20, and for the rest of the winter, join us for the Walk of the Week.

Walk of the Week is a fun, new way to explore the Museum. We’re encouraging everyone to safely get out and move, especially at a time when so many of us spend a lot of time at home and in front of screens. We’re also doing this in support of Durham Public Schools’ “Wellness Wednesdays” campaign (although we encourage you to take the Walk of the Week any day we’re open!)

Each Sunday we’ll send out a clue that will direct you to a destination somewhere on our campus. Follow along and join the fun on the Museum’s Facebook page for more details and your chance to win weekly prizes.

Walk of the Week is presented by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina.
