Wedding Add-Ons
Animal Encounter:
The Museum has a variety of animals for your guests to meet and touch! A Museum Educator will bring up to three of our animals to meet your guests and answer questions. Specific animal availability may change.
Butterfly Release:
Your very own private release of newly emerged butterflies into the Magic Wings Butterfly House conservatory. You might even get one to land on you!
Child Care:
Provide your guests with the added comfort of having two of our Museum Educators entertain the kids at your event! Educators have cleared background checks and also work our birthday parties and summer camp programs. Kids can enjoy hands-on activities, explore Museum exhibits, and eat dinner together. Potty-trained children ages 3 and older, please. Two-hour minimum.
Electronic Slideshow Opportunities:
Showcase your photos on one of our many digital media screens around campus! From our large 4-screen monitors in Aerospace to the exhibit projectors in the South Gallery, we have many digital options for your guests to view!
Insect Encounter:
The Museum has a variety of insects for your guests to meet and touch! A Museum Educator will bring up to three of our insects to meet your guests and answer questions. Specific insect availability may change.
Liquid Nitrogen Edible Creations:
Add a little wonder to your cocktail hour! Our Museum Educator will use liquid nitrogen to instantly freeze beverage ingredients (Margaritas, Lemonade, and ice cream only) to make delectable frozen cocktails and treats!
Open-Air Photo Booth:
Strike a pose in front of our resident Albertosaurus or pretend you have just landed on the moon! The open-air photo booth takes three photos and then prints out two copies of pictures with a customizable footer for your guests to take home and remember your event!
Train Rides:
Enjoy a thrilling ride on our Ellerbe Creek Railway train through the park. For evening events, the train runs for an hour making as many trips through campus as will fit in the hour.
