Join us at the Museum’s Magic Wings Butterfly House and the Insectarium for an up-close look into the buzzing world of bees, beer, and butterflies! Enjoy beer and honey samples, talk to brewing, entomology, and horticulture experts, or simply relax and play lawn games under the summertime sunset.

Also, Breaking News! The Museum of Life and Science is collaborating with Bond Brothers Beer Company to create our own special beer – Join us for the grand debut and be the first to try it! Take part in an exclusive butterfly release, see honeybees at work, get creative with Crafts & Drafts, race cockroaches and meet some of the exotic insects that call the Museum home.

Your ticket includes:

  • One complimentary select beverage from our cash bar
  • Access to our Magic Wings Butterfly House Conservatory, Insectarium, and Gardens
  • Samples from local vendors

The Flat Drum food truck will be on site for purchase. Beer and wine are also available for purchase at our on-site bar. Tickets for this event are limited. Proceeds from ticket and bar sales help inspire lifelong learning at the Museum.

Is the train running?
No, the train will not be running for this event.

Are there any snacks or drinks?
Yes, food will be available for purchase at food trucks. Food and Honey samples are also available and included in the ticket price.

Are tickets transferable?
Yes, all tickets are transferable, and we encourage participants to give their tickets to friends or family if you are unable to attend. Please contact reservations@lifeandscience.org within 48 hours in advance of the event.

Are there any refunds?
All refund requests must be submitted before 12:00 PM the day prior to the event by emailing reservations@lifeandscience.org

In the event we need to cancel, we will email all affected ticket holders by 3:00 pm and leave a message at (919) 220-5429 ext. 344. Our highest priority is the safety of our guests. Ticket holders affected by a cancellation can choose to receive a full refund or consider donating their ticket purchase back to the Museum.
