Adult Workshop: Glass Coaster-Making

Step into a reflective, creative space and design a 4” × 4” fused glass coaster inspired by the symbols in nature that hold meaning for you. A tree might stand for resilience, a spiral for growth, or a bird for freedom—the choice is yours. Students are welcome to bring an image, stencil, or something they can trace to help bring their symbol to life.
Working with clear and white glass as your foundation and a palette of colorful elements, you’ll translate your chosen symbol into a luminous design that captures its essence. As you create, you’ll explore how nature’s imagery can hold stories of strength, comfort, and connection.
This workshop is more than a craft project—it’s an invitation to pause, to consider what symbols ground you, and to carry that meaning forward in a piece of art you can hold in your hands.
No experience needed—all tools and materials provided
Pickup of finished pieces ~10 days after class (coasters will be kiln-fired, finished with protective footers, and gift packaged)
