Join us for Science Distilled as the Museum takes on a new energy, blending hands-on science with cocktails inspired by our exhibits. Delve into the science of distillation, connecting what’s in your glass to the process that makes it possible. Whether it is your first visit or a familiar stop, the evening offers a fresh way to explore the Museum!

Be among the first to explore our newest exhibit, From Here On: Shaping Our Future, then venture into the cosmos in Aerospace with a featured cocktail from Durham Distillery and bask in the power of pollinators at the Magic Wings Butterfly House with a signature drink from The Velvet Hippo. Finally, head to the Train Plaza to “Shake your Cabooze”, a playful stop featuring a crafted cocktail from Olde Raleigh Distillery and train rides on the Ellerbee Creek Railway.

While you travel through each immersive space, you’ll find themed educators, activities, crafts and more! “Arepa Culture” & “Bulkogi” food trucks will also be on-site along with a variety of beer and wine for purchase at our cash bars. All money raised from this event will benefit our initiatives to inspire lifelong learning. So, when it all boils down, buying a ticket is a selfless act!
