Leave the kids at home! This event is for adults 21+!
Join us for everyone’s favorite beer-themed event! Enjoy our indoor and outdoor exhibits while reps from your favorite breweries serve up samples and the science behind them all evening long. Stop by to see NC State’s Sebastian Wolfrum’s presentation on “Bioprospecting in NC” featuring live yeast and get the details from Bond Brothers Beer Company on our signature Museum beer, “Citrusaurus Wheat”! Hop over to play lawn games, compete in our Stein Holding contest, and relax at our outdoor biergarten. Then, take a sunset train ride on the Ellerbe Creek Railway and explore the Magic Wings Butterfly house. You’ll also get to tap into your creative side with Crafts & Drafts and make something unique to take home!
Not a big beer drinker but love fermentation science? Don’t fret! Along with our variety of beers, we’ll also have wine and a specialty “Butterbeer mocktail” available for purchase at our cash bars and plenty of activities and experiments.
“Bulkogi” & “Blue Window” Food trucks will also be on site for purchase. To top it off, all money raised from this event will benefit our conservation and education initiatives that help inspire lifelong learning. Food trucks, Experiments, and Beer – What could be better?
