Grab your friends and celebrate Halloween at the Museum, AfterHours style!

Are you a fan of the paranormal studies field or fearful of the future? We’ve got you covered! Our friends at the Association of Paranormal and the Magick Makers will be there to share and give insight on all things seen and unseen. Learn about the science behind fear with Bull City Anxiety and see if you can get through our Sensory Haunted House. Test your bravery at Hot Sauce Roulette or join our Hot Pepper eating contest – Hope you can take the heat.

Head to the Butterfly House to meet some of our resident constrictors and delve into the stigma surrounding snakes with our animal care team specialists. Apprehensive about insects? Chat with our entomology team and overcome your fear of cockroaches or arachnids at the insectarium, Are you brave enough to play a game of “what’s in the box?”

Take an ominous train ride through the darkness on the Ellerbe Creek Railway, stop to experience our Crime Scene Caboose, and craft something spooky with Hearth Studios. Beer and Food samples are included, Snazzy, tasteful costumes are welcome!

Death By Taco and The Blue Window food trucks will be on site for purchase.

Beer, wine, soda & water will also be available for purchase at our cash bar.

All money raised from this event will benefit our conservation and education initiatives that help inspire lifelong learning at the Museum.
