Enjoy a Tito’s cocktail and learn about the brain’s response to fear in both humans and animals with our neuroanatomy experts from UNC.
Are you a fan of the paranormal studies field? We’ve got you covered! Join our friends at the Association of Paranormal Study for an immersive presentation on their findings in popular locations across the southeast.
Meet some of our resident constrictors and delve into the stigma surrounding snakes with our animal care team specialists. Apprehensive about insects? Chat with our entomology team and overcome your fear of cockroaches or arachnids at the insectarium. Are you brave enough to play a game of “what’s in the box?”
Take an ominous train ride through the woods on the Ellerbe Creek Railway, a walk through our scary conservatory, or simply grab some fresh popcorn and enjoy a Halloween flick.

Beer and wine will be available for purchase at our cash bars. A food truck will be on-site with food for purchase. All money raised from this event will benefit our conservation and education initiatives that help inspire lifelong learning at the Museum.
