The Museum of Life and Science turns 75 years old this year, and we wouldn’t have made it to our eighth decade without your support! Grab friends and family for a day of discovery at the Museum while meeting some of our community partners. Join us for the day and pay only $7.50 for general admission tickets for adults and children.
Activities include:
- Pop up cockroach races and insect handling in the Magic Wings Butterfly House
- Q&A opportunities with our Animal Care Team Members
- Giveaways and activities from Book Harvest
- Ask an expert from the NC Botanical Garden plus take home a seed pack of their 2022 Wildflower of the Year
- Hands-on activities in The Lab and TinkerLab
- Touch-a-Truck from 10 am – 1 pm with the Durham Fire Department and their mascot, Sparky
- Explore the Durham County Bookmobile from 10 am – 2 pm
- Red Wolf Coalition at the Red Wolf habitat from 10 am – 3 pm
