Uncover the wonders beneath our feet with the NC Fossil Club’s annual Fossil Fair, as well as explorations of geology, pottery, and much more! Get ready to get your hands dirty as we investigate the earth and all it holds.

Activities Include:

• Visit the NCFC Fossil Fair, with experts identifying fossils as well as sharing their own displays, and 5 Megalodon Tooth giveaways throughout the day!
• Practice pottery in Tinkerlab, and take your creation home
• Explore geology with rock testing in Studio Earth
• Get the scoop from Entomologist Ian in the insectarium about bug life cycles under the ground!

Be sure to bring in any fossils you’d like identified! Representatives from the Smithsonian, NC Museum of Natural Sciences, Schiele Museum, Aurora Fossil Museum, Duke Lemur Center, and NCFC will be here to share their knowledge!
