Grab your friends and celebrate the holiday season, AfterHours style!
It’s the most wonderful time of the year at the Museum of Life & Science! This event is sure to raise your spirits as you stroll amongst thousands of glistening lights, enjoying seasonal samples of food and beverages from vendors from all over the Triangle with themed games, holiday crafts, science activities, and more! Skate in your socks on our ‘ice’ skating rink or enjoy a festive train ride, then head to the Magic Wings Butterfly House to stay warm, and don’t forget to check out the Science of Comedy sets to keep you in good spirits all night long! We’ll have “New Age Soul” food truck on site with food for purchase. We will also have beer and wine available for purchase at our cash bar. All proceeds from this event will benefit our conservation and education initiatives that help inspire lifelong learning at the Museum.

- Three complimentary holiday cocktails, created and served by Durham Distillery, Tito’s Handmade Vodka, and the Museum of Life & Science
- Train rides on the Ellerbe Creek Railway,
