November 4
10 am – 3 pm
The collaborative, cross-disciplinary field of One Health explores the varied and fundamental connections between human, animal, and environmental health. Join us on November 4th to celebrate One Health Day alongside organizations across the world. Meet experts around campus between 10am-1pm and join for a special conversation at 2pm to gain a deeper understanding of the challenges we’re facing locally and globally, and how we can rise to meet them!
We’ll be joined by a variety of visiting experts, including members of The Pan Lab at Duke and other faculty from the Triangle’s inter-institutional One Health course. You can also learn from Dr. Peter Cowen (former professor of epidemiology and public health), the NC Wildlife Federation, the Ellerbe Creek Watershed Association, the Environmental Protection Agency, NC State Wildlife Research teams, and our own on-site experts with hands-on experiences and in-depth conversation!
