Prism: A Celebration of Pride in STEM

Join the Museum of Life and Science for our Pride month event! All are welcome to explore our 84-acre campus as we celebrate diversity in our community and the science community at large.
Activities include:
- Storytime, art activities, and book giveaway (while supplies last) with The Rainbow Collective for Change
- Science with Stormie! Meet Durham Drag Queen Stormie Daie from 12 pm – 3 pm as our Super Scientist in The Lab, and catch her performances and readings around campus!
- Join our very own Pride Parade around Gateway Park and Hideaway Woods! Stop by the Creation Station in Sound Garden before the parade to create your own flag and noisemaker
- Find the rainbows through campus with our special event scavenger hunt.
- Make your own pronoun, pride, or Museum button, and use Chalk for Justice on our new outdoor plaza!
- Meet LGBTQ+ scientists from around the Triangle and learn all about their work.
- Info and activities with the LGBTQ+ Center of Durham, Durham Queer Sports, iNSIDEoUT, and more!
