Meet in Hideaway Woods, Wednesdays at 11:30 am
Join Museum educators and, for the summer, some very special guest readers from some of our fantastic community partners for a story adventure! We’ll explore exciting tales through read-alouds and themed activities that spark imagination and curiosity. This 15 – 30-minute program is perfect for families who love stories and a touch of exploration.

Scented Storytime with Bright Black

Meet in Hideaway Woods at 11:30 am
Come dive nose-first into worlds where scents tell stories and help us regulate our emotions with Ms. Angel from Bright Black Candle Company! We’ll spark big imaginations and bridge generations with songs, smells, and stories written by amazing BIPOC authors. Each week this summer, we’ll celebrate LGBTQI+ stories, sprinkle in affirmations, and cheer on independence. This joyful, hands-on adventure is just right for preschoolers and their grownups—happening in the magical Hideaway Woods!
Bilingual Storytime with El Centro Hispano

Join our friends from El Centro Hispano for an interactive, bilingual storytime and activity fit for both English and Spanish speakers! Best suited for ages 5 and under.
