Celebrate summer with us!
Bring your family to join us for an evening of exploration! Let nature guide you through some of our most popular outdoor spaces, from the treehouses in Hideaway Woods to the lands of Explore the Wild, where you’ll visit the animals (& wolf pups!) who call the Museum home.
Enjoy nature-themed crafts and activities, hop on the Ellerbee Creek Railway for a sunset train ride, then finish the evening with a Dance Party in the Plaza. Wherever you wander, there’s sure to be summer fun for everyone!
Sprout Cafe will be open with a select “Barbeque” themed menu for purchase, along with beer and wine for purchase at our pop-up bars for guests 21+.

Is this event wheelchair accessible? Yes
Are tickets transferable? Yes, all tickets are transferable, and we encourage participants to give their tickets to friends or family if you are unable to attend. Please contact reservations@lifeandscience.org at least 48 hours in advance of the event.
Are tickets refundable? All refund requests must be submitted at least 48 hours prior to the event by emailing reservations@lifeandscience.org. In the event we need to cancel, we will email all affected ticket holders by 3:00 pm and leave a message at (919) 220-5429 ext. 344. Our highest priority is the safety of our guests. Ticket holders affected by a cancellation can choose to receive a full refund or consider donating their ticket purchase back to the Museum. The Museum is not responsible for errors made during the registration process by the buyer.
When should I arrive? Guests will be checked in at Gate 2 entrance starting at 5:45. Guests will exit the event out of Gate 3.
Which exhibits are open/closed? For this event, the Main Museum will be closed. As guests enter through Gate 2, Gateway Park, Hideaway Woods, Farmyard, Dino Trail, and Explore the Wild will be open until 8:00. The Train will also close at 8:00 p.m. For the Dance party, the Train Plaza and the Magic Wings Butterfly House will be open until 9:00 p.m. Guests will exit the event out of Gate 3.
Is the train running? Yes, the train will be running until 8:00 pm
