The Art of Enrichment

The Art of Enrichment is a special showcase presented in our South Gallery, near the KEVA blocks, and a fundraiser for our Museum animals. Each painting is a collaboration between our Animal Care Team and some of our reptiles and mammals. Painting creates opportunities for movement and exploration. All paints are water-based and non-toxic.

Besides physical enrichment, painting promotes bonding between staff and animals.

These social interactions cultivate connections that help in other situations, like when an animal needs medical attention. Proceeds from the sales of each painting support animal enrichment at the Museum. Be sure to stop by and check out the show going on now until March 2022.
