Adult Workshops: Beadweaving

Come create your very own cicada wing using one of the oldest forms of beadweaving: peyote stitch! Lead by native Durhamite and textile artist, Ren Tysinger (Scattered Glass Tapestry) and using glass Miyuki seed beads, you’ll go home with your very own cicada wing (keychain, pendant or bracelet), a new love for beading, and a few extra cool cicada facts.
