May 9: Butterfly Lifecycles at JES Avanti Foundation 

Heritage: A Gathering Place, 10 – 11 am   

We’re helping the crawly not be so creepy in this program about butterflies and other insects.

May 16: Bimbé Cultural Arts Festival  

Rock Quarry Park, 1 – 7 pm 

We’re heading out to the festival and bringing a special activity featuring Durham 2100, which asks the community to imagine what Durham should look like in the year 2100! 

May 16: Climate Game Night at Atomic Empire 

Atomic Empire, 6:30 – 9 pm 

The NC State Climate and Sustainability Academy and the Museum of Life and Science are excited to share some “serious games” at Atomic Empire. These games draw on the science of climate change to help participants learn how to build resilience to extreme weather and other hazards.
